NACPM welcomes Trish Ross, CPM, to the NACPM Board of Directors!
Patricia Ross is a trainer, midwife, spouse, mom, clergyperson, and leader.
After a 25-year career in organizational development and training, Trish decided to pursue midwifery and did so, gaining the CPM credential in 2012, and then the Bridge certificate and Preceptor credential soon after.
Trish got involved with Midwives on Missions of Service (MOMS) in 2004 as a volunteer and became the Education Director in 2007. MOMS created a robust program for Community Health Workers in Sierra Leone that uniquely uses relationships to cement sustainability as the CHWs prioritize and solve problems while providing maternity care with the clinic system. She has made 25 trips to Sierra Leone and continues to travel there to continue staff development and conduct training sessions.
Trish has served on five boards and has consulted with a dozen more to improve function and solve problems. Because she values competence highly, she finds NACPM’s focus on justice and excellence appealing.
