Join Harris County Public Health’s first Maternal Health Bill of Rights (MHBoR) Informative Workshop and Movie Screening at The Deluxe Theatre. This event is designed to educate and empower mothers, birthing persons, and their families about their rights, providing valuable resources for expecting and new families. The evening will feature an engaging session on the MHBoR followed by a special screening of the “Chocolate Milk” documentary, which explores racial disparities in breastfeeding and the importance of support systems for mothers and birthing persons of color. Space is limited, so please register to secure your spot and enjoy light refreshments. Learn more about the MHBoR at mhbor.harriscountytx.gov.
