Join us for an enriching experience at Birth Rites Collection workshops this year, where we delve into themes of aesthetics, ethics, politics, and visual discourses of birth through both visual and written materials. Birth Rites Collection’s Summer School is a unique programme of lectures, workshops, seminars and one-to-one tutorials. Four intensive days will introduce you to the collection and facilitate a dialogue between you, your practice and the artworks. This years focus will be on learning the art of staging and documenting performances. Led by esteemed artists and speakers such as Helen Knowles, Dr. Leni Dothan, Barbara Rosenthal, Puck Verkade, Ana Casas Broda, Sarah Maple, Dyana Gravina, and Dr. Hannah Ballou, these workshops promise to initiate insightful discussions and broaden perspectives.
