Practicing Equity in Authentic Community Engagement

Join Maternal Health Learning & Innovation Center for a thought-provoking event with Kenn Harris, VP, Engagement and Community Partnerships National Institute for Children’s Health Quality, on Authentic Community Engagement (ACE) and father engagement in Maternal and Child Health (MCH). Learn what ACE truly means and how it can lead to effective strategies that deeply impact the communities you serve. We will also explore the often overlooked role of fathers in family health, with a focus on Black and Brown fathers. Gain insights on how to authentically engage these fathers and make room for them in a system not traditionally designed for their involvement. This event will increase your knowledge of ACE, deepen your understanding of its historical impact, and help you develop skills to engage those with lived experiences, including men and fathers, with greater authenticity.
